Thinking differently. Working imaginatively. Design Thinking is an innovation method with culture-changing impact. Collaboration is the foundation of a new working awareness. Focus is on the team,
working processes are sharpened, the workplace becomes a flexible scene of creative work. Design Thinking addresses problems holistically and user-oriented. The individual is at the centre.
Design Thinking consistently places the user in the focus of innovation development. To achieve this, professionals for diverse fields of practice assemble at a round table. Creativity and analysis go hand-in-hand. The outcome is the precise positioning of an innovation in the lifeworld of consumers and users. Design Thinking proceeds in six steps.
Based on a specific problem, information is gathered from research, needs are pinpointed and consolidated. Using this data design teams then develop ideas that are implemented and tested as prototypes with the user. To improve the result, individual phases are repeated. At the end of the process is a prototype is optimised to user needs.
Cyriax applies Design Thinking in the context of a cultural process of transformation. We bring together executives and employees from various disciplines and employ Design Thinking to subject them to new experiences. They learn to speak a common language and develop a panoramic view of complex challenges. For more information, write to Ulrich Cyriax on firstname.lastname@example.org.
